AAFN 10 year Celebratory Gala Dinner

Sunday 14th

9:00am - 5:00pm
The nuts and bolts of afferent and efferent systems. We consider how our nervous systems map the body and the world, integrate these maps and then use these to engage in the world. Much recent work has identified that we operate in both allocentric and egocentric contexts all the time and use these contexts to engage meaningfully with our experience. The ways in which genetics, trauma and fatigue can profoundly disrupt the efficiency of these systems will be addressed.

Monday 15th

9:00am - 3:00pm
On our final day of the conference we explore how to skilfully apply some of the innovative neurological solutions that make this field so unique. First up, some case studies looking at presentations from an afferent/efferent error point of view. Then what might be done to address asymmetries in such cases and broadening these principles to apply to other case scenarios.
